I am attentive, creative, enthusiastic and hard working. I always feel I have room for improvement to be the best possible caregiver to clients- giving them patience and caring for their wellbeing, as well as their mental and physical needs. I became a caregiver to help, even though I didn't think I'd be a good caregiver. It was evident in my first day of training that I thought wrong. I have a natural instinct for helping and guiding others, allowing them to be independent yet assure them that I am there to help. To see that clients are smiling and are genuinely thankful for my assistance shows me I did a good job.

I have my Certified Caregiving and Certified Nurse Assistant (and PCT) License for 9 years now. I am currently working as A CNA providing care to immigrants that need to quarantine but my job there will be ending soon mid December 2023. I began gaining experience in caregiving, assisted living, rehabilitation centers and have done 3 years night shift at St.Joseph's hospital. I am now in school to receive my bachelors as a Registered Nurse. I have a passion to strive for the care and needs of others as if they are apart of my own family. I also strive to develop trust with not only the patient but the family to always ensure excellent care and respect.

I have been a caregiver for 20+ years. I have continued my education as well. I love working with a diverse group of clients. I work with the elderly and mentally disabled from children to adults. I believe that it has always been my purpose. I am very respectful, compassionate and caring. I am also patient, responsible and trustworthy.

I have cared for my 91 yr old grandma til she passed so she could be home. I have cared for 104 yr old lady that lived by herself up to 1 week before she passed. Then she was sent to hospice house. I also cared for 103 yr old lady that lived with her daughter up til she passed. I loved it 4. I have been the family care giver since I was 18 yrs old. I worked in manufacture for 27 yrs. I love working as caregiver/medical field because I have so much love and compassion for people that is how I suceed in what I do. I realize there is some many rewards and gifts in this line of work. What I enjoy the most is meeting people and hearing about their life and experiences they have live, because everybody always has a unique story to tell. The joy you bring to their lives and the appreciation they feel. The most personal achievement I am most proud of was opening my own successful Adult Assisted living for 4 mental ill adults at 24 years old and having no idea how to run a business. I was well known in the community and was respected by the licensing committee for my excellent work. I kepted that Assisted Living open for almost 10 years. Having that business was where my passion was for caring for people. It taught me how to advocate for people that were not capable of advocating for themselves. I was their voice and that is how I was able to earn respect with people I worked with. Today is why I am so thankful and I am able to soar in my work today.

I have always loved caring for others, even as a child. I started working in a Adult Care home in my late 20s and found my passion! I have owned 2 assisted living homes and a Senior Daycare. I have tried other occupations and have always come back to caregiving. I also work with Alzheimers and dementia patients. I am very loving, kind, and patient. I AM LOOKING FOR PART TIME , 2 2 HOUR SHIFTS A WEEK, . I BECAME A CAREGIVER BECAUSE I HAD ALWAYS WANTED TO BE A NURSE BUT LOST THE OPPORTUNITY EARLY ON IN LIFE AND CAREGIVING SEEMED A GREAT OPTION, I AM A NURTURER AND CARING FOR PEOPLE IS A PLEASURE. I WORKED FOR A COMPANY YEARS AGO AND BECAME THE MANAGER OF MY DEPARTMENT, I WAS PROUD OF MYSELF AND LOVED MY WORK, UNFORTUNATELY I WAS REPLACED BY A MANAGER THAT THOUGHT A MAN COULD DO A BETTER JOB, THANKFULLY TIMES HAVE CHANGED ABIT. I AM SINGLE AND I HAVE A HOME I LOVE WITH A BIG YARD AND LOTS OF FLOWERS ALL OF WHICH ARE WAY TOO MUCH WORK BUT IT IS MY JOY, I HAVE 4 DOGS AND A CAT THAT ARE ALL MY LOVES. I HAVE 2 GRANDDAUGHTERS I NEVER SEE DUE TO DISTANCE AND I HAVE A SON THAT I DON'T SEE OFTEN, I HAVE GREAT FRIENDS AND WE ENJOY THE SYMPHONY AND GOING OUT TO DINNER AND WHATEVER ELSE GOOD WE CAN GET INTO. I LOVE MUSIC AND READING AND WATCHING TV. I AM ALSO A DOG SITTER.

I want to make the elder live a happily and comfortable for what's left for their lives and enjoy their home instead of being in a nursing home facility. I enjoy my work; I do it with the best attitude. What I like the most about my job is that my clients are satisfied with my services. Is that they smile and they are comfortable and happy. I like to be a supplier for their essential necessities.

I went to school for a Medical Assistant then I became a in home care giver. I have my CPR card, also i got my First Aid card to. I took care of my friends grandmother and also I have the heart for this job. I love helping people that just want a friend or a person that needs a little bit of help or anything else. I am 29 years old and I have been doing since I was 16 years old.
