I'm a compassionate, empathetic,caring person that enjoys helping others. I've been a care professional since 1999 and have worked in all levels of healthcare from nursing homes, to in home care, to rehabilitation centers. I've also attending training for Medical Assistant and have my certification of completion. I've worked with people that suffered from all ailments from dementia, Alzheimer's, COPD, to memory disorders to name a few. The achievement that I'm most proud of would be returning back to school and completing my Associates in Science degree, and getting accepted into Temple for my Bachelor's in Science.

My name is Kaitlyn, I'm 26 and really enjoy helping people and doing all I can to make peoples lives easier. My favorite part about being a care giver is forming bonds and talking to people, getting to know about everything they love and putting a smile on their face! What attracted me to being a caregiver is taking care of my late grandmother and making sure she got the right care she needed. A personal achievement I'm proud of would of course be becoming a mother!

Hello & I hope you're doing well. My name is Mare & I was born and raised in Charlotte North Carolina. My interest in care giving began in 1982 when I gave birth to my daughter. Tiffany was born @ CMC w/ no right kidney & only a piece of a left kidney. That's when my caregiving actually began, however I had always wanted to be a nurse. Tiffany had several episodes of heart failure, as well as many seizures. I took the opportunity to learn as much as possible in order to help her in every way I could. Tiffany and I were referred to The Children's Hospital of Alabama where I was taught how to perform peritoneal dialysis. I treated her with paritoneal dialysis in my home for approximately one year. At that time, doctors decided she had to have a transplant. At 18 months, Tiffany was given one of my kidneys. She was put on a great deal of medications and there was a lot of care given to her over her lifespan of 28 years. After Tiffany's passing, I followed my interest in caregiving by working at a hospital as well as an assisted living company. I am a very friendly, patient & caring person who has been taught how to deescalate issues if they arise. Growing up it was a passion of mine to become a nurse. I have always enjoyed taking care of people and that has been my job for over 20 years both in private and institutional atmospheres. I became a caregiver because I have a willingness to help and care for others. The opportunity was offered to me when I was very young caring for a family friend and ever since I have enjoyed the work and the sense of purpose it gives me.
