I took care of my Mom who had COPD until she passed and I worked night shift with another patient while doing that. Then When that patient passed away I started with another. Then I finally ended up having to take care of my Dad which I'm so fortunate I could. Now that he has passed I'm ready to start back caregiving for others. This experience allowed me to care for my parents who I loved with all my heart and so thankful that I could.

Hello all! My name is Sarah and I am a certified nurses assistant. I have been working as a CNA since i graduated high school in 2014. I obtained a certification in phlebotomy in 2022. I currently work at McLeod Seacoast on overnights and enjoy helping care for my patients. I am working on obtaining my Medical Assistant online and hope to soon start working in an urgent care as a medical assistant. I have always loved helping people. I enjoy what I do. I listen to the patients needs and do my best to make them feel they are heard. I am proud of everything I have accomplished and hope to accomplish more.

I also take the time once a month to visit nursing homes and walk through just to speak with the residents for a moment just so they know someone cares . It's not all about the money for me. I take my time to make sure all mt patients needs are met even if that is something as simple as listening to them and their family. These are some of the things that I feel make me a great caregiver. I love people not matter what race or what medical problems they may have. To care for others makes me feel great. I feel like that is my purpose in life
