I am a fun, laid back, compassionate person. I am a believer that being professional does not mean not having fun or enjoying your job. I love being a caregiver because I love helping people. I enjoy making people's lives or even just days better; that is one of the things that gives me the most sense of accomplishment. A personal achievement in proud of is my perseverance as a mother. Being a mother turned my whole life upside down and it has been a hard journey. But as my kids get older, I can see my efforts paying off and I'm really proud of myself for the way I've raised them, because this is the most important job of my life. They make me fight harder, show up stronger, and never stay down.

I chose this career because I like to help other people, and one way to do it is to work in the medical field. A fact that motivated me to do so is that when I was five years old, my grandmother was sick and I was able to observe how other people did not take care of her properly.

I am a great caregiver because I have been successfully been working in this field for over 10 consecutive years. I have the passion of working with people in needs because I have the belief that one day I or any of my family member could probably fall in the same situation. Helping people with special needs is substantially a part of my DNA. I believed that it is a blessing from God to assist people with special needs.

I feel caregiving is a very fulfilling career, because you actually get to see the progress you are making with your consumers. I become very close with my clients quickly. All of my clients enjoy having me work with them, they like my personality and the fact that I do not waste my time when I'm with them. I have been doing this for 25 plus years, so I must enjoy it. I just lost a client to Covid 19 in May that I had worked for privately for almost 4 years, that is how I came to work for the 3 agencies that I work for now. One of my greatest achievements is helping a consumer walk again after working very hard doing his exercises to get him stronger and getting him back in his feet.
