I love the interaction, the closeness and the level of respect I can give as an outsider. I have plenty of references. I am skilled with Medicare insurance and DME companies to get supplies so patients don't have to pay out of pocket so they can get what they need to stay home. I have worked with doctors and agencies to get care that is needed. My patients become family and I take care of them as such. I have worked with loved ones that have Alzheimer's, Dementia, ALS, and everything in between. I am very good at my job and I do very much take a lot of stress off the family members. I I am very good at my job and care deeply for the people I take care and treat them as I would my own. I have always made sure I am worth what I make. I not only can do the health aspect part of the job but I will also help around the house. I can take you or just run errands for you. My references will tell you what I do not. I have a positive impact on my client I smile a lot I'm open to communicate with my client, listened to there concern encouraged them making decisions if the can and to involve them in there care plan.i give ADL care, good hygiene,,cooked, do laundry, serve there meal but if client needs assistance with feeding I will do it. I do client shopping, take client out for recreation, make drs' appointment and take them to there appointment, medications remainder,or administered medications, reports any concerns to family member who is POA.It rewarding when you see your client condition is improving.Care giver job is rewording when you bond with your client and the built trust in you.

I became a caregiver because I am a compassionate , kind person who believes that anyone going through a tough journey deserves to have the best of care by someone who cares . I started as a CNA info 1994 working in a nursing home and the hospital. I went into this profession because i want to take care of people that can not take care of themselves and their families are unable to. I am very compassionate about the work that I do. I felt in love with the work through voluntary work. I was taken care of people who are mentally challenged. I love to see I made a difference in a person's life. Through an extensive training I had as a Med. Technician , through MBON, I was able to administer meds, check with vitals, administer CPR and First Aid.I gave injections to people with Diabetes and also check with their blood sugar. Aside this, I took care of their personal hygiene and run errands for them. I prepare their meals and get them ready for their daily activities. I schedule their doctor's appointments and make sure to honor those appointment. Doing this gave me the confidence to take up a manager's position which I excelled!
