Hi my name is Tracy, I'm a Mama of 2 and Nana of four. I became a caregiver many years ago and actually found out that this type of work was perfect for me and since then I have worked in nursing home, retirement home and took care of many, many clients in their homes. I am suitable for this type of work because I am a people person, especially the elderly, It makes my day to go in a home and at least get one smile out of a client but thru e to get laughs and many smile out of them. I just recently spent a few years taking care of my father in law until he sadly passed away in November, And I'm not going to fib that was a challenge because eventually he had to have 24)7 care and we gave out home up and moved in with him, not to mention at the time was raising 3 small grandkids full time. But I would do it all over again without any hesitation. We had many wonderful memories with him that will last a lifetime.... And now being that I love to talk and do not like staying at home all day by myself I'm ready to help care for your lioved one. And now that I personally had to care for a family member I know first hand you need a break so let me help you with that.

I love people and helping them however I can. I took care of my grandmother for 5 years and realized how needful care giving services are. Seeing someone who feels alone and many times can't even remember who they are, just smile is a gift to me. I had worked for Transylvania Regional Hospital for nearly 15 years when the economy forced them to lay off 38 of us aides who were "Home Health Aides" out in Transylvania and Henderson counties. I was a prn aide, working an average of 10 to 30 hours per week, depending on the need of TRH. I cared for a variety of patients around both counties. I'm 26 years old. I've worked as a Patient Care Technician at the hospital for a almost 6 years.
