I am 54 years old. God gave me a gift to help elders, and I love that gift! I have been doing this all my life. I can't express enough how it makes me feel to go home knowing I made them smile, or laugh for that day. I think exercise is very important if they are capable, and Companionship, Honesty, and just having a heart that cares for people. I go above and beyond for my elders, and I will treat them as they were my very own.

Iam a people person who enjoys getting to know others and serving them. I've been doing this for 22 yrs and I believe this is my calling.

I have been a C.N.A. since 1981 when I was 19 years old. I have always had a "soft spot" for the elderly/sick. I have worked in all areas of healthcare over the years, hospitals, home health, nursing facilities, geri/psych unit, hospice, private duty. I now own my own business, Quality Home Care, a non-medical home care. This is my calling and I am honored to help others in need.

i had to watch my grandmother when i was young needing a caregiver. i know she could of gotten so much better help than what she got, so i became a cna while in highschool. i'm wanting to get more experience. i'm hoping to study to become a physical therapist soon. i've been in nursing homes & health centers !

I'VE HAD CLIENTS IN HOME HEALTH GET DISCHARGED FROM THE COMPANY AND STILL THEY FELT MORE SAFE IF I WAS THERE TO ASSIST WITH THERE BATH SO THEY WOULD PAY ME TO KEEP COMING AS LONG AS I COULD . I'M DIVORCED AND HAVE 4 KIDS ALL GROWN EXCEPT MY BABY SHE'S 14 AND I HAVE A 5 YR OLD GRANDDAUGHTER. I'M 42 YRS OLD AND PEOPLE USUALLY THINK I'M YOUNGER WHICH IS FINE WITH ME BUT I'M JUST YOUNG AT HEART I GUESS .MY KIDS SAY I DON'T ACT MY AGE SOMETIMES BUT THATS WHAT KEEPS ME GOING I'VE ALWAYS HEARD YOUR ONLY AS OLD AS U FEEL AND I DON'T FEEL OLD YET BUT SOON ENOUGH I WILL BE.
