I became a caregiver due to the fact my grandparents who both raised me both passed away in nursing homes. After I saw the care and how they were being treated, I made the decision to become a nurse assistant so I could possibly make a difference. I feel as though I have, I love what I do and couldn't see myself doing anything else. I'm a very compassionate person with a big heart and I truly enjoy helping others. I'm a good talker but a better listener and will do anything to make sure my patient is comfortable and taken care of emotional, physically, and personally. I spoke of family history, showed her pictures, played her favorite music and took her out to the garden area. She loved flowers. There are many elderly who are in need of companionship and I am available to provide that.

I have been working privately on and off for a number of families starting at age 15. I have experience ranging from children with certain disabilities to sick adults. I had health problems that required some help when i was a young child. This is why i am happy and comfortable helping families in need.
