I have been a CNA for 30 +years. Ten or more of those years as a Caregiver, also. I have experience in long-term and short-term care. I have training in home health, hospice, palliative care, private sitter, and companion care. I work as a attendant now with At Home Healthcare, United Healthcare and a Diamond Professional Caregiver with CareLinx. I've taken the academy classes with CareLinx so I could refresh my skills. I have passed my background screening and I am CPR certified, too. I enjoy working with seniors because some of them have lived some adventurous lives. My greatest achievement is making a difference in their lives and they tell you so. When your day is over you know you have done your best. You can look up and smile.

I became a care giver when my mother became I'll 10/12 yrs ago. Finally went to school to be certified and work in a hospital. What I enjoy most about being a careprovider spending time with my patients and listening to the stories. I'm proud of myself for accomplishing getting my Medical Office Specialist Degree,becoming Braille Certified,and getting a degree in Computer Tech.
