I started off in a nursing home in the kitchen, went to work at a group home for developmentally challenged individuals, then I moved to a memory care unit while I resided in Florida, and now I work in emergency services as a dispatcher. I am 58 years old. I have been a CNA for more than twenty years. I love my job as a caregiver. I became a caregiver when I was 16 years old working in A nursing home. I like being able to help others. It is rewarding and satisfying to learn about others and know that in your work you can make a Positive difference in your clients life. I respect and provide thorough and responsive hands on care . Necessary to maximize care , and safety with in the scope of my Certification to my clients. I Wanted to improve my knowledge of health care. So I took a Medical Assistant class at MedVance Institute and Graduated with a 4.0 grade average. I lost my Husband in 1994, My sons were teenagers, I raised two wonderful sons while working as a private duty care giver.

I have been a CNA since 2010. Cpr and Non-violent crisis intervention certificates are current. Taking Care of and helping others has always been my calling. I am very empathetic, so it's easy for me to relate and help people according to their needs. I find it very rewarding to know that I've made a difference in someone's life.

What attracts me of being a caregiver is I'm a vary love able person and this is my passion to help elder people. I want to become a CNA. The most thing I enjoy the most is taking care of my patients/residents and make sure they get the proper care

I have been a caregiver all my adult life. I raised three children, cared for my grandfather in his latter days and my mother-in-law when she fell ill. My clients are long term i am in it for the long haul. This is not my job it is my calling my passion. The blessings my heart receives from contributing to the quality of another person's life are a measurable. I have cared for Parkinson's, stroke, Alzheimer's, dementia and heart attack patience. I prepare meals, outings, light housekeeping, ect. Anything they may need assistance with while maintaining dignity and Independence. I do research and continue to learn about their afflictions and medications to better assist them and their families. My clients are my friends my family. I became a caregiver, because I have a love for helping the elderly that can't do for themselves.
