I have been a caregiver for 20+ years. I have continued my education as well. I love working with a diverse group of clients. I work with the elderly and mentally disabled from children to adults. Hi I'm Claudia Saucedo. I'm a mother of 4 children and grandmother to 2. I have worked in private homes, for home health agencies, at assisted living and memory care facilities with responsibility for as little as 8 to as many as 25 residents as core staff and for agencies, at rehabilitation centers, with hospice patients, I am very well-rounded in experience and have done just about everything that goes with the job. Caregiving comes natural to me, and I love helping people. I became a caregiver when I started taking care of my grandparents about 25 years ago. When I am providing care to my residents or clients, I treat them as if I would my own grandparents. I know they are happy and very proud of me in the ways I provide care. I am a hardworking, compassionate, experienced caregiver that does not mind going above and beyond what is expected. I love when I can make someone's day with even the smallest request, a simple conversation, or see their faces light up and smile when I smile at them.

I have always loved caring for others, even as a child. I started working in a Adult Care home in my late 20s and found my passion! I have owned 2 assisted living homes and a Senior Daycare. I have tried other occupations and have always come back to caregiving. I also work with Alzheimers and dementia patients. I am very loving, kind, and patient. I have cared for my 91 yr old grandma til she passed so she could be home. I have cared for 104 yr old lady that lived by herself up to 1 week before she passed. Then she was sent to hospice house. I love working as caregiver/medical field because I have so much love and compassion for people that is how I suceed in what I do. I realize there is some many rewards and gifts in this line of work. What I enjoy the most is meeting people and hearing about their life and experiences they have live, because everybody always has a unique story to tell. The joy you bring to their lives and the appreciation they feel. The most personal achievement I am most proud of was opening my own successful Adult Assisted living for 4 mental ill adults at 24 years old and having no idea how to run a business. I was well known in the community and was respected by the licensing committee for my excellent work. I kepted that Assisted Living open for almost 10 years. Having that business was where my passion was for caring for people. It taught me how to advocate for people that were not capable of advocating for themselves. I was their voice and that is how I was able to earn respect with people I worked with. Today is why I am so thankful and I am able to soar in my work today.

I am a very kind compassionate person who possesses empathy for all humankind. I am very understanding and humbled to those in need being able to offer my helping hand is always a job well done to me. What attracted me to become a caregiver is when my step father became ill with cancer and I had to provide 24-hour care for him which taught me to be very grateful and thankful for health and the time that we all have here on Earth. The greatest thing I enjoy about being a caregiver is being able to provide my love, support and companionship to those in need. The greatest Personal Achievement I have accomplished by becoming a caregiver is learning to be more thankful and appreciate life more and it's also has taught me to have more patient and more understanding. To hear the family as well as the clients tell me how much of an outstanding job I do as well as the care, compassion and companionship I offer is a priceless payment in its self. Being able to hear that is the best achievement one can get.

I have a very flexible schedule and reliable vehicle. My recent job ended due to my client passing away, I worked for her and her family for over 3 years.
