I like helping elderly. Its a fun job, challenging but rewarding. I have working in this field for many years and I am proud that so many lives had been changed, and lifted up through me. A life of 90 years old man who could not take care himself and the family were so busy, and he was able to survive for seven years. I have been caregiver and CNA for more than ten years. I have worked in nursing homes, hospital and private duty in California, then I moved to Colorado for better future, Unfortunately my family won't move there because of cold weather. So at this time I'm back to California to be together with my family and looking for a job here.

That is why I offer respite care. I was a CNA for 3 years and have been a respite provider/caregiver for nearly 4 years and I am now in my second semester of the Nursing program at VVC. I've always had a heart for caring for others. It is such a wonderful feeling knowing I can be of help to those of need. I have 10yrs of experience in the medical field. I've started with helping my grandmother as a little girl such as brushing her hair on a daily, picking out her clothes, to then giving her, her medications. I cared for several other family members until I decided to then move on to working in a doctor's office as a medical/billing assistant which included me rooming patients, taking vitals, assisting the doctor's, submitting billing, and most importantly building friendly and trusting relationships. I'm now in the field working one on one with individual clients, being able to give my full undivided attention to make sure I care for all needs required as well as giving that security and confidence that they are in good hands.
