I have experience working with Hospice clients dealing with Strokes, cancer , Anxiety, Alzheimers ,Demetria,Hallucinations and clients that wanders and with disability problems etc, In home Services include, helping client get groom up for the day preparing meals, ligh house keeping. What makes me a great caregiver is that I understand what a family us going through being that I helped care for my grandparents. I have been certified since 1997 but my experience from caring for my family members has been since my teenage years. I wanted to learn to care for people like they are my family and be my best to give the very best care. I live in the Twiggs/ Macon area but I would travel to help any family out.

As a direct support professional, I enjoy assisting individuals with disabilities and those in need of senior care. I m able to encourage and motivate them to lead a self-directed life in their own home while contributing to the community, assisting with activities of daily living if needed. Hello I've been a caregiver going on 7 years now and I can say that's something I'm proud of. I've tried other professions but neither of them felt like the one like being a caregiver has. Something that makes me a great caregiver is my attitude and personality, I always make sure to make my patients/clients feel comfortable and safe with me being their caregiver while working with them whether it's 1 hour or 12. I like my clients to know that they can depend on me to be of service for whatever they need and not feel like a burden. What I like most about being a caregiver is being able to help out those that can't help their self and being able to be there when they just need somewhere to be there for them
