My name is Linda. I have 2 grown children, a cat and a dog. My background is 20 + years of working in Social Work to help people succeed and live their best lives. I have been a caregiver for the past 10 years until the couple recently passed. Basically, I Love people!!! I am an optimist and keep a positive attitude. I love to help people. I have many achievements on a professional level but feel my biggest achievement is raising 2 well adjusted children with huge hearts. They are kind and would help anybody. I love animals and plants. I grow herbs, vegetables, and lots of flowers. Additionally, my house is full of houseplants. Additionally, I am a music lover and enjoy many types of music. My family enjoys playing all types of board games and cards. Additionally, we enjoy nature, these beautiful mountains we live in, the beach, and traveling to explore new places. Photography and arts and crafts are some of my hobbies.

I started taking care of my grandmother at the young age of 8, from then on I decided to be a caregiver because it is a rewarding experience to see the smile on any elderly face. I am very dependable, trustworthy, and put in 110% in care-giving. Personal achievement are getting my certification in home health aide and nursing assistant, my next achievement is going to school to receive my nursing degree.

I have been a CNA for 13.5 years . I'm a single mommy of 4 children, Ages 22,18,17,9 I have had private family experience for at least 6 years , i have also worked in facilities 2 years ,as well as Home care 10 + years i prefer home care because i can focused on that one specific patient one at a time . I am willing to help with any daily needs ,errands such as medicine pick ups ,grocery store runs ,household supplies etc. I am Hoping to further my career in nursing in the next month or so . What attracted me to be a caregiver is the need for more community outreach. To be able to help residents in my community who fall under our "underserved" population to educate and help them better understand the help that they are entitled to!!

Patient, kind and smiling, with positive approachable attitude, serving my client to the best of my ability. At 62, I consider myself able bodied, unencumbered, and semi-retired. My previous travels to five continents is perhaps an advantage in conversation to caregiving clients, it mostly adds a smile and an expression of wonderment, thereby adding to journey in conversation. My love for love for animals is ten fold, also an advocate for nature.

I am interested in focusing on home care as I find the one-on-one relationship more personal and rewarding and have the skills and temperament to do the work.
