I'm a compassionate, empathetic,caring person that enjoys helping others. I've been a care professional since 1999 and have worked in all levels of healthcare from nursing homes, to in home care, to rehabilitation centers. I've also attending training for Medical Assistant and have my certification of completion. I've worked with people that suffered from all ailments from dementia, Alzheimer's, COPD, to memory disorders to name a few. The achievement that I'm most proud of would be returning back to school and completing my Associates in Science degree, and getting accepted into Temple for my Bachelor's in Science.

Hello & I hope you're doing well. My name is Mare & I was born and raised in Charlotte North Carolina. My interest in care giving began in 1982 when I gave birth to my daughter. Tiffany was born @ CMC w/ no right kidney & only a piece of a left kidney. That's when my caregiving actually began, however I had always wanted to be a nurse. Tiffany had several episodes of heart failure, as well as many seizures. I took the opportunity to learn as much as possible in order to help her in every way I could. Tiffany and I were referred to The Children's Hospital of Alabama where I was taught how to perform peritoneal dialysis. I treated her with paritoneal dialysis in my home for approximately one year. At that time, doctors decided she had to have a transplant. At 18 months, Tiffany was given one of my kidneys. She was put on a great deal of medications and there was a lot of care given to her over her lifespan of 28 years. After Tiffany's passing, I followed my interest in caregiving by working at a hospital as well as an assisted living company. I am a very friendly, patient & caring person who has been taught how to deescalate issues if they arise. I'm also a great listener which makes me believe I am a great companion for those who need it. I would enjoy meeting you and your loved one to see if I can help with their care. I love doing what I do and care deeply about the effect I have on others I am caring for. I have a versatile personality that enables me to get along with various clients. My main focus is to make my clients' lives a little easier, to built trust, provide encouragement, companionship and quality care. I basically treat others how I would want to be treated. I often receive compliments from different people at different levels and also have been rewarded for the care I provide to my clients.

I become a caregiver to help the elderly and help them with their wants and needs. I like being a caregiver because it feels good knowing that I made someones day, making sure they are comfortable and happy. My overall personal achievement that I'm proud of is that everytime I work with the elderly I satisfy them, I put a smile on their faces. Im a hardworker, dedicated and enjoy being able to help and give back to those who needs it the most!

Growing up it was a passion of mine to become a nurse. I have always enjoyed taking care of people and that has been my job for over 20 years both in private and institutional atmospheres. I am experienced in many areas of caregiving and put the best forth to ensure that I deliver optimum care to clients or patients so that their needs are met and they are happy and comfortable with the care I provide. This brings me a feeling of fulfillment when the client's expectations are met.

I became a care giver because I like to help people, my mother works for Hospice and she has done this type of work since I can remember. I love this type of work !! What I like about being a care giver is getting to know different people I love listening to their stories they have to tell, also I like the company. My personal achievement is going back to school for my bachelors degree in Health & Wellness and Office Administrator, I will graduate in 2015. I am a Mom of 4 children 2 are in the military and the other 2 live in Ohio. I am currently in school and I just moved to this area from High Point in April of this year. I have been certified as an EMT in Wisconsin for 3 yrs. I am certified in CPR and basic first aid. I am an out going person who loves being around other people and helping out whomever needs it.

I was their to open doors, move chairs, get things when needed, or help them out when they were tired. Over time it was recognized then was nominated for the Service Above Self Awards.
