Over the years I lost all four of my grandparents to cancer. I became a caregiver because I want to help people that are going through the same obstacles they once were. Helping people is my passion. The best feeling in the world is making a slight difference in one's life, making someone smile is everything. When I take care of my resident's and I recieve a smile it makes me feel like I've done a wonderful job. What attracted me to caregiving is going to the nursing home everyday and seeing my grandfathers nurses and aides come in, they always had a smile on their face and it gave him one too. The things they did for him were amazing and I wanted to do the same for someone else's grandparents.

I became a caregiver to help others in their time of need and give the best care possible. I enjoy helping others and also being inspired to be my best in what I do in life and the career I chose. I managed medicines, looking for side effects, lab values, range of motion, I have experience with dementia/ Alzheimer's, bipolar, depression, aggressiveness, hearing losses/aids, incontinence, wheelchairs, hoyer/stand lifts, ambulation, personal care, dressing, working with physicians and families on creating plans of action to ensure safety, emotional wellness, and physical needs are being entertained. I am a 43 year old Licensed Practical Nurse. Being a nurse has been my passion since I was a child. I've always wanted to help and care for others it's important to me to aid people in helping them to do their best and getting around sufficiently, and being able to assist them with daily activities.
