My name is MacKenzie-Paige Dare Harrison. I am 23 years old and currently a stay at home mother of a four year old. I believe that there is a certain kind of person that has to care for others that are in need. My passion for and love to help others is what i think makes me a great caregiver. I knew from a very young age that I wanted to help others. It was dream or my God given purpose to be a caregiver. I love seeing the smiling faces of people when you interact and get to know them. Knowing that you are sharing the love and compassionate ways of the Lord Jesus Christ is what makes me enjoy being a caregiver. I graduated high school in 2008 and received my Certified Nursing assistance license. I became a care giver because I have a passion for helping others and seeing them smile. I am a very outgoing person who is always smiling. I have a 14 month old daughter who is my world, so you can say i have lots of patients. I treat all of my clients as if they were family. I give them lots of respect and help them in any way that they may need. I do not treat them as if they were babies because most of them have lived a much longer life than I have. In my six years of experience I have worked with stroke patients, Alzheimer, dementia, g-tubes, mental disorders, fall risk patients, and more.

Well, I don't get rattled when things "go wrong", I find the next best solution. I follow care plans to a 'T'. If I ever have any questions or concerns they are always documented and confronted. I'm a big sticker for organization and documentation. Like I said, it comes from the heart, and I think that combined with my knowledge and experience is what really matters. My latest TB test was done March 25, 2018 which came back negative. My latest background check, although not done through carelinx, I do have a copy for was done in May of 2018 which also came back negative. I am willing to take drug screenings as I know they will always come back negative however those will not come out of my pocket unless I'm being reimbursed. I understand the want to make sure your loved ones are being taken care of, with me they will be more than well taken care of, that's a guarantee.

A good caregiver is attentive and responds to situations in a timely manner. A patient, especially the elderly, needs constant care and attention. It's the caregiver's job, therefore, to be attuned to those needs even if the patient doesn't or is unable to communicate them. I have over 18 years experience dealing with the elderly. My passion has always been caring for others, with me around caring for your loved one.
