As a mature adult, senior citizens respond well to me. Little "things" please me. I have found that most clients make progress in small accomplishments, and I notice those and rejoice in them. I was a live-in caregiver to a non-verbal non-ambulatory adult CP client from 2006 t0 2007.She never made eye contact, but by speaking to her in regular conversation whenever I was with her, she actually began making eye contact with me when I talked to her; we bacame friends. I have always acted older than my age. I do not like practical jokes and could never see an appeal for clubbing or partying. Helping Seniors stay in their own home gives me great satisfaction. I enjoy helping with errands and housekeeping; and REALLY like cooking. Seniors and special needs clients are happier, enjoy their surroundings, are less frightened about life, and actually thrivein their own homes
