I am loving, caring, respectful, loyal, honest, devoted, and hard-working. I have been working in healthcare since 2000. I love helping and caring for people no matter what their situation or illness may be. Caring for my brother growing up that suffer from a mental illness and disability since birth gave me the desire and strength to help those who can't really help themselves. I learned my true strength after caring for my grandmother as her granddaughter and caregiver. She left me a year ago and felt like my world was shattered but then I remembered what she always told me and that is to never give up and I am always with you as you continue to care for others.

What I believe makes me a great caregiver is, I was raised by my grandmother who also was a caregiver and I watched her care for people my entire life. More than anything because I have a daughter that has fought cancer 4times and won each time keeping great spirits. For her I would do anything and over the years we've had some awesome caregiver so I pride myself in being the best of the best. I have 22 years of caregiver experience in many different areas and I love them all. When you've found your calling you stick to it and this is definitely mine.
I love being a cna. I have been a cna for over three years. I love the people and the challenges that come with the Jób. I wanted tó become a caregiver after my father took sick when i was eleven years old and i had tó help my mother with his care. I treat my patients as if they were my family.
I possess a good personality for being a caregiver, having a sense of humor is something I have learned over the years actually helps patients in times of need. To be understanding and having compassion is a key to be a excellent caregiver as well. The attraction I had to be a caregiver was the need to help someone who couldn't help themselves. The most enjoyment I receive from being a caregiver is all the stories from when my patients were growing up, their careers and of all meeting the families of my patients. A personal achievement I am proud of is passing a Q&A assessment as an assistant manager of a hotel, in which my boss knew for surely we would fail.
