Hello, I am a middle aged woman with 10 years experience working in a Nursing Home at the beginning of my career, I started at age 14 until 24. I was responsible for all care of 18 women: medicine distribution, cooking meals, bathing, dressing, arts & crafts and communicating. I then spent 15 years at a foster care agency as a family consultant, working directly with children and families in the foster care system. I became a foster parent and ultimately an adoptive parent. Currently, I own Kindred Spirits, a Healing & Art business. I make homemade non chemical bath and beauty products using essential oils, painting, woodwork and am a Reiki Master. My passion is creativity, healing, spreading love & light to others and just being a good listener.

Hello! My names Latoya. I was a teacher for 20yrs in Virginia. Moved to the Myrtle Beach area about 3 years ago. I've always had an interest non working with children, but also just working with people in general. I always been a people person. I love to establish and build relationships. Love to see that I can make a difference in someone's life and make them smile. Love seeing them happy, love to help them as well. Im compassionate, empathetic, a good listener, reliable, caring, considerate. Im a crafty and creative person as well. Just to name a few characteristics that portray. Since I moved to Myrtle beach I had many opportunities to venture out and work with amazing people. Whether it was me working at Hilton Grand Vacations, to working in a Behavioral Health Facility as a Behavioral Technician to an Assisted Living at one facility as a Activities Assistant and and the Art Therapist to another facility as a Med Tech/Caregiver to and RBT and now here. I really love networking and meeting new people. I really looking forward to continue this path of making difference whether bits working with clients in this field or me following my real passion in starting program of the arts.Thank you so much for reading a little about me.
