I became a professional caregiver because it really makes a difference in people's lives. People need help sometimes, and that's a fact. My parents were educators and givers and took me along when they cared for others. Alongside my mother, I then cared for my father as an early teen during his battle with brain cancer and we all learned so much. At the end of the day, I feel like my time is well spent caring for others and many times I learn a lot from my patients that impact my life in such positive ways. It's definitely a win-win. :)
