I became a caregiver when I went back to college to get my BA in 2015. I had no idea how rewarding it would be or how well it would suit me! As a mother of a 1st grader and the daughter of elderly parents, I have more experience than my employment in the field would suggest. I am a naturally caring, trustworthy, and empathetic person. Being a caregiver means helping someone live their life to the fullest extent possible in a happy healthy environment. In my last year of college, I concentrated on social gerontology and my senior thesis was on age-segregation of the elderly. I am especially proud the genealogy researched for my last client. She was so pleased to have that record of her family's history and it was a project we could enjoy together.
