I worked in hospitals for 40 years as a Radiologic Technologist. I loved my patients. I have so many letters from patients about how much they appreciated the care and kindness that I showed to them. It is my responsibility to show them that they are my first priority. I helped care for my grandmother and my mother with Alzheimer's Disease. You have to try and understand what they need and are thinking. They might can't say your name, but they can understand your compassion. If that day ever comes for me, I pray someone would show me compassion and respect.
