I retired from a 20 year career with a Fortune 500 company. I also raised a family and took care of my mother when she became ill. I know how hard it is to take care of a family member when they are in need of some extra care. Everyone needs help. That's me. I can help you and your family give your loved one the dignity they deserve. I will take care of them as if they were my own.

I've always been the caregiver in my family. I think its a trait I learned from my amazing mother. I was one of 5 children and caring for others started at a very young age. I was always the little mama of the group and that loving and compassionate side has stuck with me from a young age. I'm very patient, a good listener and I don't allow words to upset me too much. I realize most times that if someone isn't very kind, they either don't feeling well or they're having a moment and that's okay. We all have those kind of days from time to time. I saw the ups and downs of home care as I helped my mother take care of her parents in their final years. It wasn't always easy but I never allowed that to keep me from smiling and giving them the care they deserved. Now that I am married with a family of my own, I see the importance of sharing that same love and care with my in-laws. We moved to Bluffton two years ago from VA to help with my father-in-law. He was diagnosed with dementia and requires daily care. I believe my ability to smile through difficult situations and my patient personality make me a very good fit for those needing daily care. I'm also happy to share a good conversation, cook a healthy meal and take a nice morning or afternoon walk if necessary. What ever is needed to make someones day a little easier and brighter.
