I became a caregiver because it put me one step closer to following my dreams of becoming a Nurse Practitioner. Starting out with no experience I didn't know the true meaning of being a care giver. But, through my experiences at Skylyn Place nursing home, I have found my passion. I do not like being a caregiver, I love it. I feel like I make a difference for people in need. I get satisfaction from being a back bone to my residents. I do what I do not because I have to or for the money. I do it because I enjoy it. It may get messy at times but, its for a great cause. My personal achievements that I am most proud of are graduating from my military training and coming home to make the deans list in my first semester of Nursing school. Something you should know about me: I am dedicated to my work and I work with passion and compassion.
