I took a break from my career to take care of my Grandfather who suffered from Dementia and my father who suffered from Parkinson's and Dementia. I realized that I found my calling where I can utilize my skills and help other families when their family members become sick. Most families have to rely on Nursing Home placement which is so scary for both the family and patient. By having a caregiver come into the home, the patient will not experience anxiety and most likely will live much longer than a patient in a nursing facility.
