Hi my name is Skylar and i have been a caregiver for 10 years and now I am currently registered as a CNA as of 2017. What makes me a great nurse is the excellent skills that i provide and the effort that i put into giving each one of my clients and family excellent care. Helping provide care to my mother and grandmother growing up is what motivated me to join the healthcare field and its one of the best decisions I have made.I have worked with a wide range of different clients from children to adults and it means alot to me, I take my job serious because I love what I do and have a great passion for it. Some accomplishments I have achieved are good feedback from families, being able to now have a certification and just overall being a blessing for the positive job i do on a daily.Im trained in just about everything and im blessed to be because when a client needs a particular care done im not just going in there but I am going in knowing what im doing. I have worked for different healthcare agencies, private duty cases and Hospice as well. Working for your family you will be satisfied and i look forward to providing care to your loved one.My next career goal is to become a RN I always tell myself "If you believe it You can achieve it"!!!

I have had plenty of experience taking care of the elderly. My great grandmother had alzheimer's and she had to have round the clock care from bathing to cooking to house keeping until she was bed ridden and had to be feed and helped 24/7. I also take care of my grandaddy whom has had a stroke and whom has fallen rumerous times so he has to have assistance with walking and helping getting up and sitting down also cooking for him. Also my mother had open heart surgery and I had to take care of her with all her needs including helping her get up and sit down helping her walk. I have had close to 10 years of taking care of the elderly. I can do cooking and cleaning and sitting with the patient. I am outgoing love helping other people. I can communicate really good, can help in any way I can. I believe in helping the ones whom can't help thereselves. I have been around older people all my life and believe that doing for other people will come back and you will be blessed also.
