I believe my positive attitude and up beat personality make me a great caregiver. I try to make all of my residents feel safe and comfortable and reassured that they are in good hands. I like to keep myself clean and presentable which lets the residents know I am take pride in what I do. The ability to help others had a huge impact on me becoming a caregiver. I enjoy helping people regain the strength to do something or helping them do things they can no longer do themselves. I mostly enjoy being able to listen to stories from people and learn about their past and everything they have to share. My biggest personal achievement would be getting accepted into nursing school.
