Hello, I am a CNA and I have completed my vocational nursing just need to take my state. I choose nursing as my career because I love helping others. I have been a CNA for 3 years and I have done home care for 2 years. I love helping others.

I have always felt that Nursing and taking care of/helping people is my true calling. Ever since I can remember, I wanted to grow up to follow in my mom's footsteps and go into either Nursing, or a career focused on helping other people. I have a huge heart that is full of compassion, understanding, empathy, and love. I have a little over 8 years of experience now working as a CNA in a variety of settings such as: assisted living, nursing homes, private home care, hospitals, and independent contracting through agencies. I put 110% into my work, and sometimes probably go above and beyond what is asked of me. I am reliable, am a fast learner (who loves to learn as many new things as possible), a team player, detail oriented, patient, calm in stressful situations, friendly, organized, and am able to take on anything that is asked of me (multi-tasker). If ever I do not have an answer or solution to a question or problem that may arise, I am not afraid to ask questions so I know what the right solution is...in other words, I would never act as if I know it all because I certainly do not. I absolutely love taking care of people, and I do so in a personal and professional manner. Over my 8 years of experience working as a CNA/caregiver, I have never received any complaints from clients or family members of clients. I currently have been unemployed for over a year now, as I moved here to Merced from the central coast Monterey Bay Area, a little over a year now. It's been quite a struggle making ends meet, but I want to be sure that the job I finally do get, is one that I will love waking up to go to every day. I am very passionate and focused on what I do best, which is caring for other people.

For over 25 years I've been working in taking care of elderly people, my experience and knowledge has teach me to be patient and understanding to the needs of those who need me. I've always felt like I've done my job the best way possible. It makes me happy to be thanked and admired for what I do. As it proves to me that I'm doing it the right way and that my patients are always happy with me. Eventually I will grow older than what I am and need some assistance. This shows me more to just be caring. I recently quit my job and sold my home in the Bay Area. I am now living in Newman and just looking for someone I can help personally. I take pride in caring for others and helping others achieve their goals. Being a caregiver is not only my lifes passion but is rewarding and fulfilling to me. I have been in health care and personal care for about 20yrs. In those 20 yrs I have worked hospital bedside in many different departments such as ICU, cardiovascular, Med/Surg, Orthopedics, hospice, and also done home care, babysitting and housework/cooking. I am very confident and proud of the skills that I have been gifted with so I make it a goal to help others in anyway possible.

I became a Caregiver/CNA because I love helping people. I like being able to support others, make them laugh and enjoy life, give them a sense of caring and love. I like assisting others in being more self sufficient and becoming a better person. My most proud personal achievement is completing and receiving my degree in Nursing as well as becoming a proud mother ans wife. Something you should know about me is that I love life. I am a very compassionate, caring, happy, honest person that will go the extra mile for anyone that needs it. I was taught at a young age to do what is right no matter the reward because that in itself is the true reward. I love what I do and wouldn't trade it for anything in the world.
