I enjoy providing companionship and outmost care to every person I am with. I have also a great deal of medical experience. I am proficient in basic skills: personal hygiene like showers/bath, oral care, toileting, back-rub, dressing; Assists in activities of daily living such as serving & feeding, ambulating, positioning, transferring, administer meds & nutritional supplements, dressings surgical prep; Do & record vital sign: blood pressure, weight, pulse, temperature, finger pricking for sugar levels in diabetics; Measure & record food & liquid intake, urinary & fecal output and report changes. Encourage patient to exercise. Review & ask dietary restrictions, preferences, & allergies. Change bed linens, replace trash bags. Always check expiration of food & medicines. Know vital information about patient's condition, treatment plan & any suggested activity.. In a capsule, it is very important to respond immediately to patient's call for assistance and/or treatment with the goal of creating a safe, effective environment to make a difference in the lives of the patient & their families. Patience is a virtue inherent in me. I always work above & beyond my duty for the comfort & safety of my patients. What makes me a great caregiver? Well I honestly feel like I was born to serve and take care of loved ones as well as those that cannot take care of themselves. I feel like the world is so fast paced these days that we forget about those aging around us, I have been caregiving for over 10 years professionally but have taken care of my family/friends my whole life. In this field I feel like you have to have a certain amount of patience, care, loyalty and a warm touch and I with me it comes naturally. I love to care for everyone no matter the circumstances.

I have a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Biology from the University of California, Davis and recently obtained my Bachelor's degree in Nursing from National University. My name is Tanesha Pleze I am a single mother of a 16 year old young man. I am currently a student at El Camino Compton Center studying for my Nursing degree. I became a caregiver because I love helping others. I love everything about the medical field, I am very compassionate in what I do. Caregiving is a huge personal accomplishment, & I am proud of flexibility & determination. Even with a difficult health of my parent, caregiving can be one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. I like to learn everything I can, get creative when I have to and do your best. I am grateful for anything that I managed to achieve. I managed to build a great skills. I am most proud of overcoming the adversity in life & hope reflection to others. But I found courage to pursue some dreams, studied hard and had a job at the same time to pay for my studies. It was not as an easy period of life, but here I am, applying for a great job with you.
