I Enjoy Being A Caregiver Because I Like Helping My Clients Become As Independent As Possible In Their ADLs. What Attracted Me To Becoming A Caregiver Is That I Enjoy Helping People.

I have worked in the school district as substitute teacher for four years. Before that I worked as a private Nanny who also did home care work with other family members in the households. I have worked a lot with children with disabilities as a home care giver and as a para professional in the school district. I ran errands, planned schedules, answered phones, took kids to and from activities, and provided meals, helped with toilet training, and bath time. I have also worked with older family members which has always been enjoyable for me. I would drive them to and from where they needed to go, help with groceries, give them medication, laundry, assisted with feedings and other needed things around the house.

Am trustworthy dependable person. I became a caregiver because of my Mom) at the age of ten my mother was left disable from an incident in the hospital. I wanted everyone to have the care that we were able to give her. I live being in a position that am able to take care of someone that needs me, am always thirving to becoming a better caregiver a better person. I love what I do for a living.

I am a reliable and dedicated caregiver. I have over five years of experience in a variety of health care settings. My experience has included the privilege of working in dementia care, palliative care, Parkinson's disease care, Hospice pice care, Alzheimer's disease care, and with persons with developmental disabilities. Over my years of experience, I have provided compassionate and skilled respite, companion, and live-in-care. I am passionate about taking care of people with disabilities and older adults. My work ethic stresses respect, attention to listening, and addressing individuals as unique. I believe that all people deserve the highest quality of care. I have had the honor of being present and providing care at the end of life. I also like to make an impact in the lives of those I care for and, when present, strive to communicate with family to ensure goals are met. I have extensive COVID-19 experience, having worked doing testing and infection control in skilled nursing homes and other settings as part of a COVID-19 Testing Strike Team. My long goal is to provide meaningful care and to, one day start my own home health care agency and train the next generation of care providers.

I enjoy being able to help others. I wanted to be a caregiver for others after caring for my grandmother and being able to see the difference it makes in their lives to have someone there when you need them. I would like to help others in the way that I was able to help my grandmother. I have experience with a variety of different duties pertaining to assisting elderly individuals. Helping others makes me happy and I enjoy doing the little things that will help make their lives better. I recently graduated with my Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice and work full-time, but am available for part-time assistance wherever is needed, evenings and weekends.

I have been in the medical field since 2008. I always knew I would be a nurse because that's all I talked about as child. My main passion is to help others and what better way to show that them using my gifts to help others as a nurse

I am attentive and responds to situations in a timely manner. A patient, especially the elderly, needs constant care and attention. It's my job, therefore, to be attuned to those needs even if the patient doesn't or is unable to communicate them. I have a passion to help others. I come from a family of healthcare professionals. It put a smile on my face to know I am a big help to others and i also enjoy my patients company and time.

I am care giver for 10+ yrs. i am currently employed at the VA in lake city fl. my reason for being a nursing assistant is because i had taken care of my mother when she was terminally ill of Aids which she passed away at a early age. By taken care of her it help me appreciate life for another human being especially when they can not take care for them selves .
