Caring for seniors is a passion of mine and has been for many years. My biggest achievement is attending nursing school at age 47 after being an executive secretary for years. My philosophy is to treat people as if they were your own family. Even though I am a retired RN, I miss assisting with activities of daily living while keeping a client's independence and dignity in tact. My favorite work was in Home Health for the last 15 years. It is so much better being in a client's home to determine what help is really needed and wanted. I am a happy, caring person and am anxious to help where I am needed.
My personal achiement is 20 yrs on the job. I stay because its my calling and i love taking care of people. I dont know how to do anything else. Im patient loyal friendly and talknloud enough for rveryone to hear me. I hope im giving somthing back to humanity.
What makes me a great caregiver is I live very people and working in health care and doing what I love. What attracted me to be a caregiver is helping others in need itsy Passion I as a caregiver enjoy my job the most us the people I work with and there families. My achievement is getting my hha,my phlebotomy and continuing my medical assistant and going forward for my RN.
I am 49 years old , married 30 years and have one 13 year old son. I enjoy nature , especially the Springs and pets and environmental issues. (am a Volunteer in a museum on Sundays)
I am a natural empathetic caregiver ever since I was a child. I worked at the Council on Aging and have been a private caregiver for quiet a few decades. It is rewarding to be able to help those who can't do for themselves.
I began my Health care career as a Candy Aide Volunteer at Gracedale County Nursing Home. Gaining great experience allowing me to be accepted into Vocational Technical School in my junior year of High School and graduated from the Nursing Program. College classes and a fantastic instructor created a solid learning experience both in class and clinical. I received my Diploma with a 4.0 grade. My counselor offered me a full time job with a Chiropractic office and completed Physical exams, intakes and physical therapy. I then started working with Praxis as a Living Unit and Occupational Aide with Mentally challenged adults. I ran the Occupational Therapy Department and was Certified as a Recreational Therapist. Shifting gears I began working at a 5 Doctor Practice Animal Hospital for all exotic and small animals. Quickly moving my way up I found a passion for Pharmaceuticals. This path allowed me work for The Butler Company as a a very successful Pharmaceuticals Representative and Territory Manger transferring me to Florida. I worked full time while raising my beautiful children.
I have moved to Washington in 2014. And began working for Volunteers of America as a Direct Suppot Professional for development disabled adults. Loving the area I went back to my most rewarding position. Providing quality care and support to my clients and their family. I have relocated back to Florida to provide support to my Mother. My customer's as a Job Coach and then promoted Employment Specialist for EmployU in Alachua and Levy Counties are my passion. I support my customer's with disabilities to obtain employment and give hope.
I will forever continue to heal and support customers to the best of my abilities. It would be my honor to support your family member.
Best Regards

I am sewing seed in the Kingdom of heaven. Why did I become a caregiver? I am called and choosen by God. Mentally, emotionally and phycially it can be hard work but very rewarding.I like being able to provide love and care and companion ship with a since of peace. My greastest and personal achievement in life me being able to take care of my step father while he was sick and up till the day he passed away. My story I was raised by a step parent but I could never tell he was my step father he always treated me good kind and loved me even when I was wrong but let me knew when I was wrong and tried to show me a better way he was my Hero and still to this day he will always be. I was able to show the love by taking care of him while he was sick and able to be present as he took his last breath and prepare his body for the under taker that was the last thing I could have ever done but the greatest.
I'm passionate, caring, loving, with a great sense of humor and understanding especially when taking care of a elderly. I enjoy taking care of elderly. I took care of my father for over 10 years until he passed away in 2014 of the age of 100. So I know how hard and sometime difficult for a family to take care of a loved one especially when they have Alzheimer's or Dementia. I worked privately ,for comfort keeper and currently with companion care, inc. I'm a CNA with CPR. Love pets ,so no problem with home with pets.
What makes me a good caregiver is because I have passion for what I do. I enjoy helping the elderly and putting a smile on their faces. It is a rewarding feeling for me. I have about 6 yrs. experience in this field. I take vital signs, bathe, dress, groom, take on errands, light house keeping, and toileting. Thank You.
I'm very good at caring for others and have always wanted to be a nurse. The appreciation from clients and the feeling of knowing that you are helping people transition from one situation to the other for me is priceless. My first client was given a couple of weeks to live by her Dr. When I took over her care, she lived three more years. I love what I do because it has taught and helped me to be a better person. I am raising two beautiful children and very proud of what I do everyday.
