I am a compassionate loving woman who loves caring for others. I've recently ended my military career after serving for 7 years now I am ready to serve others. I am in nursing school and I have about 16 months left. I currently have my Nursing Assistant certification as well as my BLS certificate. My long term goal is to become a Registered Nurse at a hospital. While I am in nursing school, I would love the opportunity to work with families as a caregiver. I am a HHA and CNA in which I preform a lot of private care to the elder. administer prescribed oral medications, under the written direction of physician or as directed by home care nurse or aide, and ensure patients take their medicine. Provide patients with help moving in and out of beds, baths, wheelchairs, and with dressing and grooming. Care for patients by changing bed linens, laundry, cleaning, or assisting with their personal care. Maintain records of patient care, condition, progress, or problems to report and discuss observations with supervisor or case manager and what ever else is needed from me. I treat my elders just how i would treat my family. i also have my own transportation and will not have a problem getting to my destination when needed...
