I became a caregiver because of my mother, At the age of 10 my mother died and I couldn't do nothing to help her. So I decided to get in the medical field for that reason. I love being a caregiver because it is a passion of mine to see people smile, and live there life to the fullest. Some of my achievements are attending school for certification, and also I am now enrolled in school for Health Information Systems and Business Administration. I want to see people that take care of these patients act professionally, and treat the patients like the way they (caregivers) would want to be treated. Everybody tells me I have a wonderful personality, and they can tell I care about the patients needs. I like to have fun, spending time with family. I am here to help. I became a caregiver to take care.of the ones that are unable to take care of them self, and try to bring so passivity into their life . I like the accomplishment feeling that you get when you have helped nursed back to recovery. My most honored and personal and greatest achievement was saving someone' s life using CPR!!!!.Spending quality family time is mandatory for me because that's my relaxing mode, I love to stay learning and elevating myself.
I became a caregiver because I love caring for the elderly and the youth. I love it some much I went to school for and I revived my Certified Nursing Assistant when I was 17 years old. I love caring for the elderly because I listen to their live stories and gain wisdom from them. I can proudly say I have never had a complaint about my work or have been fired from my job. I am 25 years old and have 18 years of caregiving and 8 years of certified experience.
What makes me a great care giver is that I love people, and I love working to help others. What lead me to my field is that I cared for my father who bed ridden before he pasted away about 4 years ago he had several illness. About 6 months after he passed away I went back to school and received my Certified nursing license and my healthcare certificate. I definitely love what I do, and wouldn't have chosen another field.
I enjoy helping others especially the ones that can't do for them selves. I became a caregiver to make a difference in the elderly world. If the patient is able to I'll let them make the decision on what they want to wear and do for the day. When the patient is more involved in the care and what they are doing you have a better outcome for the patient and their cooperation. I love what I do that's why I've been doing it for 24 years.
