I just turned 29, I am currently a nursing school student after 11 years of hands on experience at a day care facility for adults with various disabilities/disorders and in home health care for multiple families. I have experience from younger children with behavioral and physical challenges to adults with various challenges as well. I ran a program for 10 years for people on hospice with end stages of dimentia and other diseases as well. My experience ranges from companion care to hands on total care. I am extremely reliable and dedicated to my work. I have a great relationship not only with the people I am providing care for but their families as well. I can offer many references. I truly love what I do and know it is what I am meant to do!
What makes me a great caregiver is that I am very enthusiastic to help, very sweet loving kind compassionate. I've had family members on hospice before and I feel as though they weren't treated as good as I could have treated them if I was old enough to take part in that position. So my life goal is to always feel and give the feelin i've had family members I have been on hospice and I feel as though they weren't treated as good as I could have treated them if I was old enough to take part in that position. So my life goal is to always feel and give the feeling I am a part of your family and you are a part of mine. What attracted me to becoming a caretaker is as I've said a couple of my family members have been on hospice and in nursing homes and I just feel like I could've done a much better try at helping them and making them the most comfortable in the positions they were in. I enjoy loving people and talking to people I enjoy making conversation with my Residence, I like getting to know you as much as I possibly can. I'm a very loving Christian who knows how to treat someone how their family members would love them to be treated. My achievement in goal in life is to become a doctor's assistant. And starting as a caretaker to a CNA two LPNs to a registered nurse to a doctors assistant is my goal in life

My personal achievement that I am proud of is giving the best care I can for the patient under my care and receiving good feedback from my patients and their families. I also received a recognition from the facility I was working with during their customer satisfaction survey acknowledging an excellent work and patient experience that I have done.
What makes me a great caregiver is my compassion and the fact that i honestly love what i do. I became a caregiver because when i was younger my grandmom passed away and the little tasks i was allowed to do made me feel good and if i can do that for someone else loved ones it would bring me joy. An achievement i made was becoming a cna and although i didn't finish but i intend to is nursing school.

Having compassion for the one's who you care for helping them keep dignity and pride in letting them be a part of their care in making decisions of their care. I became a caregiver to help others help themselves when they no longer can or their physical or mental ability no longer allows them to do so.I care about people and think everyone should be comfortable and feel safe. I'm proud when the person and family feel good about the care they receive and that they know that their love ones are safe and taken care of.
I am a great care giver because caring for people is my passion, I love to make others happy and help with every day living as much as I can. I have always wanted and have been a caregiver to whomever in my family that needed care since I was 16, I took care of both of my I'll parents until their passing. My heart is very much into my work. I am proud because being a caregiver has made me want to pursue my career to become a Registered Nurse
I became a CNA because many of my own family members needed care. My career as a CNA is very fulfilling. I love taking care and treating clients and family members as if they were my own. Just knowing that I can step in and help take some of the stress off of the family, is a great reward. The most important thing however is my clients and there happiness. They know I am dependable and a loving caring person, who will always care for them and do what is needed in the correct manner. I am a college graduate. I have five children and five grandchildren whom I love dearly.
Being a CNA I have found that I enjoy being able to take care of others. And have learned much from my clients during my 28+ years. I have been lucky enough to have worked with supervisors and nursing staff that have enabled me to continue my education in many areas of medical and mental disabilities and new medications. I have taken care of age groups from NB to 104 yr. I've worked in the ER, Vent Units, Nursing and Assistant living facilities, Home Health, Hospice Care and Private Duty. I also have experience in working with young adults with Special Needs. And in each new environment I have greatly enjoyed and learned more than I would have ever thought possible. I also have all Clearances (updated as 11/2017), Physicals and Medical requirements, references and documentation needed to work in the state of PA. I am the mother of 3 grown sons. Love to read and listen to music. Mostly oldies dance music (50's / 60's) and country. Love Philadelphia sports teams. Especially the Phillies and Eagles. I received my nursing certifications in North Carolina, where my family lived for 12 years. I hope this small bio helps you in your search for caregiver. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
Ever since I cared for both my grandmothers I knew that this is the career I wanted to go after. I have also worked for a caregiving agency as well and have experience profesionally. I know both sides and am honest on what I can do and what I can't. Your loved one always comes first to me. I always think of how I would have wanted my grandmothers treated and never offer less than the best possible care.
