My personality are empathy and compassion, desire to help patience reliable and flexible .Growing up in a family of medical professionals I surely thought that one day I would become a caregiver after high school I became a caregiver in a facility it gave me the opportunity to help those who couldn't help themselves this is what prompted me to further my education by attending CNA schools while am working on become a nurse light now.
Helping others was always a big part of my life at a very early age. Being able to help seniors was a gift inside of me. I just wanted to help them so their life could be easier. Working as a caregiver, I enjoyed hearing all their stories and the wisdom they have. Helping them accomplish their goals was rewarding. Being able to connect with people & help others is what life is all about. I have worked with seniors twenty-five years. I have had my CNA certificate since 1994. Most of my experience have been working as a nurse tech. in the homes of my patients. The job duties are: Meal prep.& feeding, Personal care, Exercise program with patient, Toilet assistance, Med assistance, Dr. visits, Transfer & walking assistance, Daily vitals, Light housekeeping, Worked with patients with dementia, stroke, diabetes, wound care, blood pressure, cancer recovery, broken bones. I have enjoyed working with children with special needs. A little boy with down syndrome had a feeding tube, severe heart condition, seizers. I was there over three years in McKinney Texas.
I have 21 years of caregiving experience. I had worked in skilled nursing facilities, currently working at a university teaching hospital and home health agency. In the hospital I work on different units such as mental health, rehabilitation, ICU and med surge units. I have certified nurses assistant and respiratory therapy certificates. It gives me joy when I have the opportunity to help care for a person who is in need of care. Cecilia

I have been a caregiver 5+ years and enjoy what I do. I love interacting with geriatrics, they brighten my day as well as I brighten theirs. Ive been In the medical field since 2007. I enjoy taking care of others with experience with caring for the elderly with dementia and alzhiemer, as well as with clients with disabilities children and adults. Ive also worked in a hospital setting caring for clients and also did a few years working in the operation room being hands on in the surgery rooms. Im very patient and have the passion to do what I do and without those two things I think one couldnt work in this field. Also I'm currently enrolled in nursing school
I'm Teresa I'm a Christian my faith is very important to me, I'm patient and caring. CPR Certified, BLS, first aid, TB tested. I Care for elderly any age patient in their home. Performing the following tasks: Vital signs, Changed bed linens, washed laundry, cleaned patients quarters, assists patient into and out of bed, automobile or wheelchair and to the restroom. Assists patient with dressing, bathing and grooming. Reminding them to take medication, maintaining records of services performed and condition of patient.
I care about others and never put myself before the patients, I always Listen to the patients as if they're my own mother/father. I live helping others and anyways thought this is the way to go. I dream of becoming a doctor to help people more. I have 4 kids and a loving husband. I love them all very much and I'll take care of your mother and father like my own
