My personality is caring, observent, organized, and detail orientated. Which is a few, I love to make people laugh and talk positive about what a person can be better if they are willing to try. The reason that I have gone to school to take care of others which started with my grandmother getting very ill. I took care of her until she past away and continue the mission to make every day count that the person's life as well as mine. My expertise is working with mentally challenged, and physically. As a caregiver I can help out with a simple task as well as a difficult one. I do light housekeeping, cook, errands like grocery store and take to doctor's appointment. Hello I'm Jessica I've been a certified Home Health Aide for 12 1/2 years I have a passion for caring for the elderly and people in need of help/assistance. I cook them breakfast, lunch and dinner, I wash their clothing, Assist/ Administer food/medicine, peg tube and flushing tube as well I encourage them to tell me stories(jog their memories) I exercise with them, encourage them to go outside and enjoy the fresh air, laugh and chat with them, Play board games, Color, Singing, playing cards etc... I worked with people With autism I work with people with behavior issues, CP cervical, to people with diabetes cancer Strokes Alzheimer dementia I work with people with catheters G tubes pretty much all the above I love what I do I started out as just a support provider and now I'm a Certified nursing assistant, now currently state certified Patient Care Tech, I am currently in school for Radiology Tech. I originally became a caregiver to make sure my mom was going to be well taken care of when she got a certain age. Some years ago my girlfriend got sick and needed assistance with someone who could help her with feeding, dressing, hair care and house cleaning. Not knowing what I know today back then, I was still able to fulfill that gap and enjoyed myself while doing it. What I like the most is the smile that I leave on my clients face daily.
