I've been a CNA for 20 year's.I love doing what I do,i so get Senior's and get along very well with them.I really owe it all to my Parent's who instilled in me to alway's Respect your elder's.My father was really proud of me for being in this line of work.I did a lot for him up until he passed{2012}.I have received award's in Dementia/Alzheimer care,outstanding caregiver and employee of the month.I have learned a lot in my 20 year's and still learning.My client's show me every day how blessed i'am.

I love caregiving because it's such an intimate friendship that you get to build with others in our community and it has impacted and inspired me in a positive and powerful way. I started caregiving to help my mom pay bills when I was 15, and I have yet to look back and regret the time I've gotten to spend with people in their golden years of life. I will forever be grateful for the time I have spent with the people I've gotten to care for.

I love helping others. Ever since I was a little girl I loved seeing my older family members and helping them on a regular basis. I'm very responsible and am easy to talk to.

I have been a caregiver for 5+ years and I have worked in multiple health care fields with all different types of health issues. I have yet to run into something that I could not handle. Being a nurses assistant is what I do, I have thought about furthering my education multiple times but I keep coming down to the decision that I would not get that one on one time like I do now with my patients/residents. I am very proud of where this career as taken me and how my job makes me feel knowing I put a smile on someone's face and I was the person who was there for them when they didn't have someone to talk to. I am a very outgoing individual and I love to have fun with my co-workers and residents/patients. Everyday I go to work my number 1 goal is to make sure every single person I come in contact with get the best service I could provide with my experience and if I can not answer a question for them then I direct them where to go and also get educated on the answer myself for next time.

I originally became a cna to keep my auntie home when she was in stage 3 terminal pancreatic cancer she passed away in 2009 and I've been cna certified ever since . I love being a cna because you touch people's lives on a daily basis it's a very rewarding job my life goal is to eventually become a occupational therapist and work with children in the future. I love my seniors! I have over 20 years of experience. I began with my own grandmother at the age of 19 and knew this is what I need to do. I took care of my father with terminal brain cancer that was my hardest situation. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is the person I'm caring for regardless of their personality I just love them. I am proud of everything that I have done.
