I have always wanted to help people with mental and physical needs and how rewarding it is to help them. I love helping them and growing a bond with them. I am proud that I achieved my cna so that I am able to help all of the people out with what they need. I am a good person I get along with just about everyone.

I'm a very out going person. I can make friends where ever I go. When I was younger I lost my grandpa and his care givers were not the best and ever since then I always wanted to either be a care giver or nurse. What I enjoy most is giving the family relief that their loved one is cared for and not mistreated. A personal achievement would honestly be my kids. I'm a single mom of three and the past year I've been doing it all on my own and I've proven I can do it no matter what.

I became an LPN nurse because I love helping others. I am very compassionate. I think outside the box. I am a problem solver by nature. I am able to take charge of a situation if needed. I can strike a conversation with just about anyone. I was on the dean's list while taking classes. I live in the country and have a small hobby farm.

My first priority and goal as a caregiver is to build a rapport with the individual that Im working with. I strive to support and assist them in any way i can so that they can be as independent as they possibly can . I have the experience and capabilities to remain calm and make quick decisions in emergency type situations that sometimes involve CPR and first aid. Although my certifications are not up to date I have had CPR and first aid training/certification classes at least 5 times in the past 10 years when I worked for a former employer.

I am currently a nursing student at ESU. I am working towards my Bachelor of Science in Nursing. I will then further my education to become a Certified Nurse Midwife. I have worked in memory care for almost a year and it's taught me the compassion that my residents experience. I enjoy being a caregiver because it's rewarding to me. I love to be able to help people because it's my way of giving back to others. My ability to build relationships with my residents makes me stand out as a caregiver. I am also very thoughtful; everything is done with care and to the best of my ability. I always ensure safety, comfort, and happiness are priorities for those I care for. My experience in memory care also gives me expertise in those suffering with Dementia or Parkinson's.

I started late in life, but I have over 15 years of customer service with me. I love talking and meeting new people. I have always loved to help people to the best of my abilities. Which is why I chose this field. My own personal achievement is the fact that I have a knack for making almost anyone smile. It is a goal everyday to spread kindness.

I like helping people and putting a smile on a face when I can. It's hard when folks' health makes for trying times, but patience is key.

I am a very compassionate and caring person. I enjoy listening and interacting with people. Hearing stories of people's history really is one of my favorite part of being a caregiver. I started helping to care for my two adult nieces in 2015. They were fully disabled. It was very rewarding and their laughter and loving personalities made my days complete. From there I incorporated caring for disabled seniors and found their companionship enriched my life every day as I cared for them. Prior to being a Home Health Aide, I worked for eye surgeons for twenty years. It was a very fast paced practice and I enjoyed the challenge. However, my favorite part of the job was interacting with patients and with electronic charts and other changes, the personal contact with patients was rushed and I felt they needed more compassion and reassurance in most situations. I am so happy I've made this change of careers in my life. I feel like I'm just going to visit a friend every day and enjoy the history and wisdom they share with me.

i love working with the elderly.have always liked taking care of them and getting to know the residents.becoming a certifed nursing assist was the best decision i could of done.i have worked in long trem care facilites for 12 years. i feeel that i work well with resendents and i do my very best to care for them like i would like someone to care for them if they was my family.

I became a caregiver because I love the one on one time that you get to spend with individuals. Also the friendship that you build with each client is wonderful in itself. I want to give families comfort in knowing that their loved one is being taken care in a kind and moving manner as I would want my grandma to be. I like to not just care for, but also take time to converse and get to know them in a personal friendship and trusting way. What I like most really is the friendship built with each person and the interest we take in each other to the point that we hurt when they are. Getting to know them and their families along the way. A personal achievement is I have ladies I take care of in their homes and each one knows that if they need me outside the time allotted for their care, if they call I will do what I can to help with their concerns. I love the feeling that they know they can trust me. I am 39 years old and a mother of six. I was homeschooling along with my mom. I had to go to work full time and this is what I love to do if I have to be away from my children. I spend generally most of my time with them. We love to bowl and go to movies when time allows. I like being outside, and one day I will finish college in which I want to be a juvenile detention officer. Time will tell, until that time this is what I love to do.
