I pride my self on being able to quickly learn and adapt to any situation. In the past, i have assisted clients with there activities of daily living such as bathing, toileting, home exercise, taking vital signs, and maintained a clean household. I try to connect with my client spending time with them, going for a walk and driving to shopping and appointments. Sometime I assisted with laundry, cooking and house keeping depending on what the client ask.

I grew up helping seniors I knew and have always loved doing so. I love being needed and feeling like I am making their life better, happier, healthier. I am a certified/licensed caregiver with the State of California and have had a background check which is required for your protection by the State. I have taken continuing education classes. 5 This year that were CNA related training and passed them. My personal achievements that I am proud of are my certifications within and around natural holistic modalities as Reiki, acuppressure ,aromatherapy,quantum frequency healing and behavioral health/ depression /panic attacks.

I am a happy, healthy, compassionate, loyal, patient, loving person who found my caregiver calling late in life. I am 66 years old and have been doing this for a little over 12 years and love what I do. I started when a couple different neighbors of mine were ill and didn't have any family to help them. I had my CPR CERT so I said why not and when they were doing better I decided to make this my work. (Experience through: IHSS, CARE.COM, CARELINX & CAMBRIAN HOME CARE) The first client I had was in very bad shape when I met him, diabetes, renal failure, heart failure, living on his own, not keeping up with his meds or taking his insulin properly. I called his Dr. got him on a med schedule and with the right food, TLC and exercise he did quite well. Since then I have had several different clients, one was on hospice and others I took to Dr appts., med Mgmt. , meal prep, errands and companionship. I'm looking now because one of my clients I had been caring for since 2015, unfortunately she passed away early November. I enjoy my work and I work very hard! Thank you so much, Cindy

15 years ago I was in desperate need of a caregiver for my mother. It was very difficult to find an honest, caring, trustworthy person to care for her. I went through several different caregivers, including a family friend that didn't work out for the job. I ended up quitting my job and caring for her till she died 9 years later. At this point in my life I want to be able to help someone that needs special care because I know the negative impact it can take on the entire family when the care of a loved one is not being met. I think the sick and elderly are at our mercy to care for them.
