I have always had the desire to help individuals to live a more rewarding life. It is a wonderful feeling to take away someones pain/ worries/ problems. I have cared for and raised five children and worked caring for people in multiple settings for over 25 years. I am on my own again and have relocated to my hometown of Somerset to start fresh. I am anxious to reconnect with the area and love caring for individuals on a one on one basis. Having been an RN for many years, I would very much love to care for people in their homes and treat them as family. I would like to be the extra pair of arms we all need from time to time. Going to Doctor's visits, trips to the grocery store, light housekeeping, general household pickup, walks in the park, general companionship, etc. I love to sew and read. My parents passed when I was young and l cared for both of them in my home. I'm very compassionate and understanding and utilize my skills so your loved ones get the best quality care. I've been in my profession for 25 years and loving everything about it. Helping people keep their independence or giving the extra help they need is a pleasure in my books. I have my certifications for the state of Florida I also have my CPR And First AID Training. I also have my own Health insurance car insurance and license. I will have my background check soon I'm new to this site and l have to wait on my birth certificate that l misplaced, so l can get my background check, l do have references l also have my clearances and fingerprints from up north so I'm waiting to update those as well. Helping people in their homes , for one on one care that most do not receive in a nursing facility. I am also CPR and first aid certified. I am also a med-tech, and diabetic trained and certified. I enjoy the company and getting to know new people.

I am a hone health aide because i love to help others. Ive dont it for different companys. Ive done everything to bathing meals meds. Cleaning to help my consumer. And like the communications you learn alot by listening, to what they say. You learn from where there from and i love the stories from there past. But i love helping them when they cant do it.

I prefer private inhome care, ive done private care for families since i was 20 yrs olds , i have 25 yrs experience. I enjoy helping other. I learn quickly how the patient likes things and times they like to get up in morning to begin their day and when they end going to bed to watch their favorite tv show before going to sleep.

After caring for my ill parents, I entered LPN training to become a nurse. Allowing people to remain at home, rather than be in a nursing home was a goal of mine as well for my parents. I like working with individuals and small groups, so that I may give them the care that they need and deserve. I have been a nurse for 14 years. Taking care of 15-49 clients is not unusual and not practical to see to the needs of the clients or patients. I am seeking a position that I can optimize the care of individuals I care for.
