I'm a very kind, caring and generous person. I love to help others, I love making others smile and laugh. Laughter I'd good for the soul. Moving in with my grandparents when I became unemployed has attracted me to become a caregiver. My grandmother is 78 and my grandfather is 86. When I moved in with them I would see how difficult if was for them to do alot of things they used to. So I stepped in and started caring for them. I would cook breakfast,make lunch and dinner everyday for them. I would make sure they took their medications. I did the laundry and alot of other things for them like grocery shopping and taking them to appointments to picking up their medicine. It made me feel great inside to see how I was became their caregiver. I love helping my elders you can learn alot from them while you remind them and let them enjoy life while they are still here. My personal I am proud of is seeing them happy that's the best feeling in life.

I am a great caregiver because I care! I personally feel that because of the type of care my biological grandmother and adoptive mother provided to me from their own angle, is what attracted me to being an individual that is able to help others in ways that they can't...in a healthcare way. I enjoy listening to people. Sometimes companionship is all they need or want.
