I'm a very kind, caring and generous person. I love to help others, I love making others smile and laugh. Laughter I'd good for the soul. Moving in with my grandparents when I became unemployed has attracted me to become a caregiver. My grandmother is 78 and my grandfather is 86. When I moved in with them I would see how difficult if was for them to do alot of things they used to. So I stepped in and started caring for them. I would cook breakfast,make lunch and dinner everyday for them. I would make sure they took their medications. I did the laundry and alot of other things for them like grocery shopping and taking them to appointments to picking up their medicine. It made me feel great inside to see how I was became their caregiver. I love helping my elders you can learn alot from them while you remind them and let them enjoy life while they are still here. My personal I am proud of is seeing them happy that's the best feeling in life.

I became a care giver, because of my compassion to help the elderly. I grew up being the favorite person to all the elderly in the community, because of my dedication and love for helping others. I am friendly, a great supporter, and very passionate .

I have always loved the nursing field from a very young age. It was my hope to be a RN but I wasn't able to pursue that line of work. I received my CNA liscense in 1998 and started working in convalescent home, then I work private duty from there on. If i can lift the spirit of a person that is having a difficult time, then I have done my job. If I can make that person smile or laugh that brightens my day. Whether cleaning, reading book to someone, helping them or fixing a meal; these can reduce the stress an elderly person feels. Sometime the other caregiver need a break. I assure the members of the family that all will be well. Being a caregiver give me a sense of pride. I know that all people are not the same, but if I can help one person relax or show them a better way to attain the results needed to help them, my job has been accomplish. My personal achievement was to see a person walk after having a stroke.. I have been in the business of health care since 1998. I just love being around the elderly client. I have been a CNA or caregiver for 13 years..I wanted to become a care giver because my mom was one and when I was little I used to be around clients of hers..that were so sweet and kind and that looked up to her...and it was sad they had no one to depend on..so I wanted to be that way for someone..be there for them when they have no one else to depend on..everybody needs someone..so I wanted to be that someone..I like helping people do things that they can't normally do or be that ear or shoulder when they need me

I am a caring loving female,who loves to care for the elderly,I just feel they spent they life caring and dedicated to helping others and now it's time for them to be cared for, and I goes out and beyond to make sure they feel love,and respected.
