I have a passion for helping others. I started taking care of my grand parents and this transcended into helping others who are not able to care for themselves I enjoy seeing my clients happy and well groomed. This brings a smile to my face as well. I am proud to have recieved employee of the month at my past jobs.

I became a caregiver in 2005 not sure of what this job as in store for me. I started the CNA job just so I could get a job anywhere I go. Not knowing that I would meet some wonderful people a long the way. From my residents to my co-workers I have learned that being a caregiver is what I like best about my life. I love taking care of the elderly, they have shown me a lot through the years, I have had some really great people stay with while they have departed the earth. I like to see my residents do a lot of things on their own, with little to no help. To keep their independency, because not only will they tell you that they can do it on their own, they will do things on their own inspite of what you say. I like to think that my residents are my on family, in time they do become my family. The elderly that I have taken care of have made me who I am today. Not only am I their for them I am also there for their family as well, to give them a peace of mind to ensure them they are getting good quality care from me.

I have always been a nurturing person by nature. Between caring for family, and my professional career, I have over 15 years of experience. I was born a people person. I have a deep passion for helping the elderly, and disabled. It started as a teen caring for my great-grandmother, and was compounded when I became a mother of a special needs child. Caregiving is who I am.

Im a very hard working, caring and understandable person. I love for my client to smile and understand everyone needs help someday.

I have been a caregiver since I was a child. My dad had polio and my mom had other physical problems so, I became their caregiver. As an adult, I have enjoyed Hospice work, working with dementia patients and working with children. I feel like helping others is what my purpose in life is. I enjoy it and love meeting and learning from new people.
