Caregiving is a very personal job, still I find ways to incorporate love, humor, cheerfulness, fun, hope, trust and optimism into my care. I love that I get the opportunity to listen and learn about thier lives as it allows me to live vicariously through their many adventures, life accomplishments and travels. Hi! My name is Sabrina Carson. I'm 42yrs old. After 15 yrs of staying at home to raise my 3 children, a caregiving opportunity had been presented to me. I took that opportunity 6 yrs ago and I've been a Caregiving ever since. I like to think that I have a natural approach when it comes to caring for someone. There's no better feeling than being able to assist someone (who otherwise struggles on their own) in accomplishing their daily life's tasks. I sincerely enjoy helping someone concur milestones and/or helping them to achieve and even surpass their goals. I have tremendous empathy, patience and respect for each client. I treat each one as I do my father, whom I have been caring for the last 7years.Before caregiving, I managed restaurants for 23 years. I have ALWAYS been a customer service focused person. I wanted to make a change that fulfilled my heart. I became a CNA/HHA at age 17.I have always wanted to work in the medical field to help others.I have worked in several facilities as a caregiver working my way to become a med.tech,supervisor and cottage manager.I have worked for a number of families as well.Most recently, i cared for my mother for a period of 5 years+, untill her death at age 95 on 11/11/15. I am looking forward to going back to work to care for and love someone who needs assistance.
