About me. My name isJeanette Lopez I'm 44- years old . I was born and NY raised in Puerto Rico . I would describe myself as outgoing , friendly, and talkative. I thrive when surrounded by other people, and find it easy to connect with anyone I meet. Always looking for bridges , not fences. I would also say that I have a sense of humor, and people generally enjoy my company. I think what describes me the best is the "creative mind " because I always enjoy to come up with ideas, think outside the box, or even challenge the status quo. I'm a patient person, I know to take care of elderly you need that. Even when I take care of an abusive person, I always try to understand the patient. I chose to become a caregiver after I took of my grandpa, I enjoy doing it even the patients are not my family. What I like the most about being a caregiver is the fact that I always think about me or my family being on my patients situation and someone else will take good care of them because I did it for others.

Sweet, down to earth, and extremely driven in making my client feel welcomed and pushing them everyday to work on personal goals. I was told by a teacher when I was in high school that I should give caregiving a shot due to my leadership and big heart. I always knew I wanted to rehabilitate animals but never thought helping people on the medical field was something I'd do. I took the chance and graduated top of my class. Received my CNA and awards by van trees and I've never turned back since then! 5 years have passed and I've had experience with dementia, Alzheimer's, Down syndrome, seizures, behaviorally challenged children/teens/adults , non verbal clients, mental and physical disabilities and etc. I've worked with age ranges from 5mo-18 years old I'm sure whatever you need help in if I don't already know we can figure out together!!
