I have been a caregiver for 10 years. I enjoy this profession to be able to help residents succeed in their everyday lives.

I've been a CNA and a home health aide for over 7 years with a lot of experience ranging from caring for people with dementia, Alzheimer's, stroke etc to hospice. I'm also experienced in meeting their activities of daily living like shaving, and grooming, shower, dressing, helping with feeding, driving them to and from doctors offices for appointments etc

Working as a care giver I've gain a lot Empathy, my communication has gotta extremely better I'm more compassionate and time management is just a must for me. I love being a caregiver because of the connection & the relationships I build with my Residents and clients. I enjoy being a caregiver because of the way my Resident treat me sometimes they might not be aware of what they are doing but the good always outweighs the bad.
