Hi I am Eunice a 21 year old caregiver! Working as a caregiver has been a blessing and a eye opener. Working as a care giver I've gain a lot Empathy, my communication has gotta extremely better I'm more compassionate and time management is just a must for me. I love being a caregiver because of the connection & the relationships I build with my Residents and clients. I enjoy being a caregiver because of the way my Resident treat me sometimes they might not be aware of what they are doing but the good always outweighs the bad. A personal achievement that I am proud of is becoming certified so I can do more stuff with them !

I'm Audrey Foster. Im soon to be 19 years old. I have my CNA certificate and have worked in multiple care facilities as well as working in at home care. I take the responsibility of caring, helping and assisting others as something very serious. I think it's a beautiful thing to be able to help out others who need and are willing to ask for my help. I have managed to have the privilege to work with some individuals with chronic illness, mental illnesses, aging factors like dementia, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's and many more.

I have been in the nursing field since age 14, and have enjoyed every aspect of it. I've worked in several health fields from nursing homes to a critical access hospital to hospice care.

I became a caregiver because I l like nothing more than to help anyone and everyone out in anyway, shape, or form. To make a person smile and be happy is the greatest feeling to me, knowing that I made someones day/night helps me to sleep good with a smile on my face as well. I use to be so scared to even step one into a nursing home that was up until I got my first job at 17 being a dietary aid in the kitchen at a nursing home, and now I wouldn't change my career for anything. I can actually say that I am really good with families and getting along with anyone and everyone. The families that are involved in their loved ones life is also a big part of this type of career so making the family happy as well is very important to me. I have been in the healthcare field of work the 8 years I have worked and mainly just worked in the nursing home environment but I have also worked as a Direct Support Professional for an in home care facility. I would not go back and change my job and or wouldn't change the type of work I do for anything. Happiness is home made and care comes from the heart.
