I have been doing home health care for 20 years, I love working with the elderly/disabled. I love helping people in need, and providing companionship. I received my Habilitation Aide certificate 1996. CPR & First Aide certified.

I love being a CNA because it gives me the opportunities to get to know other people, help them with their needs, make new friendships and more education. As a CNA, I am a very positive person, willing to take on new challenges, will always take my time with any cares i'm doing to make sure that it's being done properly. I wanted to always be in the medical field, and being a CNA is a huge part in the medical field and it's so awesome how you can change a person day and their life even just by taking the time to even have a conversation with them. This job requires a lot out of you physically and mentally, but for me, it's all worth it to see them happy, healthy, and satisfied with how i'm taking care of them.

I have worked in health care since 2000. I have worked as a developmental trainer for the disabled, in the alzhimers unit, long term care facilities, in home care. I got my CNA certificate in 2010. I enjoy helping those that need my assistance to live a happy normal life.

I am one of a kind, since i have been young i have always wanted to help others..That why i picked my profession in healthcare, who wouldnt love me, im very friendly, loving, caring individual that light up a room.. what attracted me to being a caregiver is the joy in happiness i gave to the clients, patients, in there family by doing my job. What i love most is the clients in being there for them in making there day joyful in happy. Hello, my name is jennifer. I have been a cna since 2004/2005. I have experience working in both home health and long term care. I enjoy working in home health more because you get a chance to really know the client and family and build a relationship with them. Its also one on one so you are able to attend to there needs completely and in a timely manner. I enjoy being a caregiver and took care of my great grandma for a few months in 2005 beforw she passed away. I knew then that this is what i wanted to do. I love helping people and will do what i can to make sure they are taken care of and are happy.

I love helping others who need a little or a lot of assistance. I enjoy the happiness I see in the person's face when someone is willing to do something for them. I have a huge heart and compassionate one. I wanted to help people as much as I could after taking care of my mother after she had 2 strokes. I would do this out of pure love for her and would do the same for anyone else who needed it. I would hope that if I was to someday need any assistance , someone with a loving heart and compassion would do the same for me.

I love being able to make a difference in people's health but if also worked with hospice clients as well and the only difference with that is your job is to make them comfortable

Hi there! I am a 32 year old mother of 2. I live in Bethany with my 10 year old daughter and 8 year old son. I have always loved caring for others, no matter their age or needs. I find giving yourself to someone else in your profession is incredibly rewarding and fulfilling! I especially have a tender spot for the elderly. As a girl I volunteered in nursing homes my mama was employed by. She's a nurse of 18 years and opened the door to this world for me. I immediately fell in love with providing care and knew this was my calling in life. I am CPR certified, and have performed CPR successfully once after a patient suffered a heart attack. I am also certified in home care, Alzheimer's Disease, communicable disease, bathing/grooming, and transferring. I am able to perform glucose checks, manage oxygen use, take blood pressures, and perform range of motion. I am trained in creating and carrying out care plans as well as shift charting. My most recent patient has passed away, leaving me to find someone to devote myself to. I was with him for approximately 7 years, and the loss has been difficult. After taking some time to grieve, I am now ready to move forward and continue the line of work I am so passionate about. I am a very compassionate, caring woman. ...quick to smile and love to laugh. I am incredibly detail oriented and very reliable. I understand the importance of patience and building a foundation of trust, while giving consideration to each individual's needs and wants. It's never only about what someone needs. What a person wants is just as important, and if at all possible to safely give them that, I feel the effort should be made. My goal is to provide the medical care my patient needs, while also being a companion and allowing them to remain in their home where they feel safe and secure in their surroundings.
