I enjoy working with people and most enjoy jobs where you have one on one interaction with others. I enjoy taking care of elder family members and would like to help others in this way. I like doing work that has the potential to make a difference in someone's life. Its essential that a caregiver feel the desire to want to help by showing empathy and compassion,I let my patient know I care about them I do what I can to help, not because I have to but because I want to im patient reliable and trustworthy. Caregivjng in itself is a huge personal accomplishment and im proud of my resourcefulness,flexibility and determination even with a difficult patient caregiving can be one of the most rewarding experiences of your life.

I've been certified for almost three years now but have been giving direct patient/ resident care for about two years. I've worked in just about every setting. From hospital surgical floors to Emergency Rooms to Assisted Living homes to Long Term Care Facilities. I will always listen to the needs of your family member and put their wishes above all. I have enjoyed being a care taker long before I was certified and have known from a very young age that this is what I'm meant to do. I plan on going back to school after taking a break to get my RN.

I am a woman full of heart I put my everything into all my clients needs I feel I was born to be a caregiver and I don't just look at it as job I look at as a blessing! I truly love caring for others it's my passion!

I worked with 5 nurses and 1 doctor for 10 years, then went on my own for 13 years and am still working. I tended to Hospice patients and their families. Personal care and whatever family needed done . Changed linen, did hair, shaved men. My patients were rejuvenated after care. I never let one patientlose their dignity. This care gives me purpose in my life. It has taught me to live life well and take nothing for granted. My work is my life. I just love careing for people, and di any errands for family or let them know they could go run errands while I am taking care of their loved ones. It gave them a much needed break and knowing their loved ones are in good hands with me. I am a Clinton native and everyone knows me. I also saw patients in surrounding areas and Illinoise. Would love to teach Hospice care to aides. What I do you cannot learn in a book. I have so much knowledge, if I dont do alot of Hospuce I would love to have new aides carry on my knowledge and use it as they work. I dont care too much about pay, I just want to work in some capacity in Hospice. Thank you for a chance to make a difference in peoples life, and I know without a doubt.

I am cna certified and also am cpr certified. I have been working in the health field since 15 starting as a dietary aide then going on to laundry and housekeeping . Then was put through classes for cna I have been certified for 14 years as a aide and I absolutely love meeting new people helping others and connecting with people as friends not just a caregiver as well . I do not have a drivers license but that absolutely does not stop me from being responsible and dependable when I say I will be or am suppose to be somewhere I will be there most times even earlier then said . I am still able to always grab a few things needed from the grocery store or Walmart as I myself always am needing things. So please don't count me out on the fact that I don't have a license I am still a very dependable and loving caring person who can still do the tasks asked with out one. A little about my family I am a mother of two a daughter who is a senior this year and a son who is in 4th grade my son has autism and adhd so I am also experienced in that and I am also expecting one on the way due in February. I have 22 years experience. I love working with people. The experience I have gotten is like no other. I can usually relate to just about every o n e.

I've worked with multiple people, that never failed to mention how much of a delight I am to have around. Not only do I make sure that someone feels okay, I don't mind cleaning up any messes. In my spare time if I'm not walking my dog I'm always at work. I don't mention on my resume but I also do help babysit my families children. I have great people skills and I love working in a healthy fun environment.

I'm think I'm a great caregiver because I put other people first. I care about other people's well being. I'm very caring and I love to look after other people who unfortunately can't do it all themselves. I'm very trustworthy, reliable, caring, hardworking. I became a caregiver because I love caring for people and meeting all their needs. What I like about being a caregiver/CNA is seeing what a difference I can make by simply smiling and making someone's day so much better. Being able to help them with the little things that other people take for granted and helping them reach their full potential of good health again. A personal achievement I'm proud of is how much Ive accomplished since Ive had my son, and how much schooling I have put myself through, and how well Ive done while doing most of it on my own.
